This is a serious challenge, especially in historic districts. Galata and Beyoğlu’s narrow, steep, often one-way streets were planned in the nineteenth century with horse-drawn carriages in mind, not today’s vehicle traffic. Historic buildings do not have parking, nor can they — a garage cannot simply be added beneath an apartment building later on.

- Electric vehicle charging station (paid use). For travellers with electric vehicles, one of the greatest challenges in central Istanbul is finding a place to charge safely overnight.
- 24-hour reception and security. Essential for drivers arriving late at night.
Leave the car behind and join the city
Here is the key: in Istanbul, a car is valuable when arriving in the city; it becomes a burden when exploring it. Driving to the Historic Peninsula or İstiklal is often slower than walking.
That is why Beyoğlu Residence’s location is a deliberate choice. Leave your car in the garage, and let the city come to you:
- Our complimentary hourly shuttle takes you to Taksim and Şişhane — putting İstiklal Avenue, the metro and Galata just minutes away.
- The airport bus (HAVAIST) stop is right outside the door. There is no need to take out your car to meet your guests from the airport or plan your departure day.
- A shopping centre and restaurants are within walking distance, while Istanbul Airport is around a half-hour drive away.
Who is it ideal for?
For families: Apartments range from 1+0 studios to 2+1 family apartments and suites, with fully equipped kitchens, washing and dishwasher machines, and balconies with city views. For a family travelling with children, being able to prepare breakfast in their own kitchen changes the rhythm of the journey.
For extended stays: Regular housekeeping continues throughout your stay; the residence is designed for business trips or city visits of several weeks.
For those arriving by road from the Black Sea region, Anatolia or abroad: After a long journey, searching for a parking space is the last thing anyone wants to do.
